Fault on grundig tv model ST70-550

Picture is black and only a visible horizontal line is seen in the middle

you have problems in the vertical deflection cirt (the output ic ,caps,or yoke,or supply.)

Yes you are right. Don't rely on grundig. We had a Grundig TV 6-years back, it troubled us alot. There are no proper service stations too. Now we brought Panasonic.

I do not know this model, but if the horisontal line is 2-3 mm thick you should replace the IC for vertical out. If the line is 2-3 cm or more you should look for transistor or capacitor in connection with IC for vertical out.
