in my opinion, rules are meant to be followed. if we break rule, others might follow and it can cause a chain reaction which is very bad. hence we should always try to follow the rules, as rules are made for the convenience of all the people. i agree that following a rule can be inconvenient to an individual, but if that rule is followed by all the individuals it brings convenience to all the people.

Sir Douglas Bader, famous WW2 air ace who lost his legs in a plane crash once said "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of the wise" I have never forgotten that quote.

As I understand it the quote is from Oscar Wilde and misquoted by Bader as; 'Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the strict adherence of fools' all the best urban

Some rules promote greater freedom for all, for instance the rules about which side of the road you drive on. Unless we obey that it greatly detracts from all our freedom. Some or the most valuable freedoms we have, however, have been won by those who broke the rules. all the best urban

Rules are made to be broke. Why such rule exist in the first place? I believe it's good disobeying rules sometime. It's just normal as a human which is have their good and bad intention. That is why sometime we heard why they were broke the rules, it's just for fun, we were boring by following this rule today :) Anyway, such rule being made puposedly for being followed by others. There is pros and cons about obey or disobeying rule :)

Neither. Rules are meant to be manipulated and twisted according to your needs. That's the working brains of a true diplomat. See, i don't believe that there is one right way to do something, i believe that there are several right ways, to achieve something, and it's up to each one of us individually which way we choose, and which way is best for us. Basically i don't really believe that rules are RULES. they are more like 'guidelines'

I believe that rules must be obeyed all the time especially the house rules..like when you use it put it back..when dirty it clean it..or be home before 9pm many more. just keep on and obey rules and be good.

I obey rules up to a certain extent. Sometimes I feel that some rule may be broken for a good cause. Otherwise I think rules are to be obeyed.

Rules are meant to be obeyed, but there is no harm to break them sometime when seeing a lovely girl like you (hahahaha) I just joking. Any way, i believe that we should always obey the rules, but sometime we have to go back to humanity. I mean if the problem is simple we should not make it big and punish the person. Therefore, we should always learn from a bad experience and learn to to repeat the bad habit or the wrong doing.
