pinakbet as assorted vegetables dish

guys, i just love eating pinakbet. some recipes vary when it comes to cooking pinakbet, but i love it when the main ingredient for this vegetable dish is fish sauce! besides im a vegetarian. got any opinions to share with me about this delicious dish? :)

try adding more ampalaya to make it healthier, ampalaya is said to help regulate our blood sugar...

some people hate ampalaya's taste because of its bitterness detected by the taste buds of the tongue, and some ignores its nutritious contents. but i love to eat ampalaya when it is cooked best as "tortang ampalaya" and of course, ampalaya would always be included as one of the vegetables in the delicious pinakbet recipes :)

I like my pinakbet flavor w/ sauteed bagoong and pork liempo, sometimes i also add saluyot to my pinakbet for variation, my aunt put camote(sweet potato) substitute for squash in her pinakbet

the pinakbet recipe of your choice sounds good! i noticed that when u add the saluyot to the dish, it serves as an extender. do u have any ideas about the origin of sauteed bagoong as to where it came from? :)

I like it too, especially with bagoong. And mix with some lamb meat or crispy bacon. And with the vegetables half cook, I like to eat the veggies crispy.

with Lamb meat?!i havent tasted the lamb meat yet...we dont raise lambs here in our country :) i prefer pork tenderloin or pigue as an ideal meat for the pinakbet dish.. but id like to try the lamb meat if only they are available at any wet markets.
