Missing mobile phone

My younger brother took my mobile phone and lost it. he is not even feeling bad about it. my parents feel i should not have given it to him in the first place. what should i do

Tell him that because he is not responsible, you will not trust him with anything of yours again. Really mean it and really stick to it. Tell him that he needs to save his money and buy you a new phone and you won't let him use anything of yours again until he buys you a new phone.
