I just got it a couple of days ago. So far I like it. Although I don't think it is life changing, like Bill Gates claims it to be. But it definitely looks much nicer. The features seem to be generally the same, just in a different format. Has anyone found any interesting or little known features that they would like to share? So far I haven't found anything really exciting yet.

Hmmmm.....good question. I don't know. I'm not exactly computer literate. Which is why I am fishing for some advice abotu Vista. Right now I am on my PC, and Vista is on my laptop. When I get my laptop out I will fing out and let you know. Does how many RAMs affect how well it will work?

well s iam running vista........the features r awesome ......now iam using 1gb ram and u know wat vista is taking almost 50% of my ram ( nearly 512mb RAM)in a normal state and coming to hard disk its taking around 9gb...........too much space its consuming........so its better to have 2gb ram and min of 15gb free space after installoing vista

Not yet. I'm not getting Windows Vista until I absolutely have to. I'm happy with my laptop with XP on it. Why do they keep changing what already works?

I do not have Windows Vista and do not plan to get it. I use WindowsXP and it works just fine for me. Why bother to go to the expense and trouble of getting a new operating system when you like what you already have?

Woow WIndows Vista.. what a hot subject i can say. I have talked a lot in my area with many of my friends and all of them had only positive thoughts about it. I can say that i was blow off by this new windows system. Some things certainly lack to it but this new look which Microsoft has incorporated in it certainly do the money you would give for it. I have waited this new system for 2 weeks and here i am using it. It was pretty hard for me to buy it because in my area it can't be found. So i had to ask a friend from another part of my country to order me. I am so happy using it and all i have are only words of gratitdue. I post here a short description about VISTA.
Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface (GUI) and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network using peer-to-peer technology, making it easier to share files and digital media between computers and devices. For developers, Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework out of the box. The .Net Framework makes it significantly easier for developers to write high-quality applications than with the traditional Windows API.
