Add this interest?

No I hate this option and wish we didn't have it. It's just one more thing that pops up that we don't need. It's bad enough that they ask for tag words after we respond to a discussion. I can see it if you post a discussion but I don't think they are necessary when you respond to one.

It did irritate me when they first started it. But I guess I have gotten used to pressing skip just like the tags. By the time I get to trying to catching up on friends discussions, there is no point in my putting a tag because if I type something different, it doesn't show. So I keep pressing skip. BUT...I don't feel that it is a waste of time!

I do add it to my interests sometimes, but I hate it when the interest listed under hobbies is "people." I like people just fine, but I don't consider them a hobby. :) I also don't like it when "parenting" is listed as a hobby. It's a life's work, not a hobby!!

I'm not sure where I got the idea from but I have always thought that mylot wanted us to use the interests more. But I agree, it sometimes bugs me especially when I have added one as an interest and the next day it is gone off my list. But it can be helpful too. I can go to my interest section and see discussions that I might have missed. For example, I am interested in cooking and baking and I am always looking for new recipes and ideas. By going to my interest section, they are all grouped together. But I liked it the way that had it before where they asked you on the same page as the discussion and you could add it if you wanted too and not a seperate page like it is now. But I am dealing with it, its not many place that pay you for this, so I will deal with whatever they throw at me.lol.

I do add some of them, but i do belive that it in anothet thing that slows us down, but maybe that is the whole point. the slower the site gets, the less we can post and the less mylot has to pay us :-) Just an idea!
