hi, i'am from Indonesia. Many Indian people lives here. Former name of Indonesia is East Indische that mean East India. The Netherland people were think Indonesia is some part of India. This is i want to know, in history book i've learn in my school, sometimes India is call Hindustani. Why they call Hindustani..? and what the meaning of is it..? Thank you for your advance.

iam indonesian like you, too. so not sure why they call them hindustani, but i think is because the majorety people in there are hindu, so that's the word hindustani come from. this waht i think iam not so sure too. hehehe.
