The miniature serial killer ... what are your thoughts?

I'm really enjoying the whole 'miniature' serial killer thread that's been running through the CSI: Vegas theme this year. The miniatures are so neat, and I love the whole concept.
I've heard lots of speculation about what's going on - from thoughts that the serial killer is actually someone inside CSI, to ideas that the guy they already caught had an accomplice and he's continuing it.
And since they're returning to this storyline this week, I was wondering what other people thought about the storyline - like it, hate it? Any speculation on who is behind it or what it's all leading to (or what's with the creepy dolls? That's kinda weird ...).

I thought they already caught the man. The thing that gets me is that he did not say he did the murders. He confessed to making the miniatures. That might be the loop whole that they are using to find a new killer. I look forward to Grisom trying to figure this one out.

I am enjoying this storyline, and I'm glad they are revisiting it, because I was totally unsatisfied with the first "solving" of the crime. Even though Grissom says they "follow the evidence," we usually still get a motive to wrap things up.
As for where it is leading, I have pretty much given up on trying to guess the outcome when they start with the psycho-serials; remember the gender-switching, judge who kept recreating his father's murder in the first (second?) season? That was totally looped.

I really like the story line and am looking forward to seeing how it plays out. I am kinda leaning toward the idea that it is someone from Gil's past and it is going to involve Sara as a possible victim.
