I found it very interesting to see that there is a list of the counrties where myLot members do not get paid for participating. I do understand why perhaps Iran and Irag members do not get paid but I was really surprised at a few of the other countries on the list. I have come across a couple of members who are residents of these countries. If you are interested in checking this out there is a link if you go into "earnings". Do you have any opinions on the reason why some of these counties are on the list.

If the countries that these members are living in do not have PayPal or Egold then I can see why myLot cannot pay them. PayPal are continously expanding to more countries, so maybe sometime in the near future, these members will also be able to recieve payment. It is only a few years back since Ireland was allowed to withdraw money from their PayPal accounts.

I believe any country that we have economic sanctions against may NOT receive funds from this country. Iran and Iraq are on there because of ties to terrorism, and any Communist country (Cuba and North Korea) are restricted too. I believe that they think that ANY funds will be valuable, so they do restrict the commerce. So much for becoming a global economy!

See, what you are saying is absolutel right. Everybody should have equal right to participate and earn through this program, but you see mylot has some restrictions from its sponsors as well. So you can't blame them for everything. Don't forget the reason mylot is here or we are here is to earn money. So I would be on mylot's side and agree with their decision.

I really didn't know they have restrictions like this. I'm not sure as to why. But if this is true, isn't that discrimination? I know there is a war going on there but that doesn't mean people can't use technologies like this right?

I think its because the money might be used for money laundering schemes or for terrorism support.

I think the reason is that some countries do not allow paypal or e-gold , so the participants of those countries do not get paid. Maybe they are still members of Mylot because they want to learn something, improve their English, make friends, or just enjoy the discussions.

It seems to me a very good by mylot, to add restrictions in order to make payments to certain countries so they would have a lot of problems in the future so its better making restrictions, have a nice day on mylot and happy earnings also.

Its because those countries have each had economic sanctions on them by the US for at least 10 years or so for the youngest. We can't give them money or trade or anything like that.

This is because many people who reside in the countries in question engage in massive Internet frauds and can manipulate sites like Mylot.com to generate illicit earnings and spoil it for tghe rest of us.

I supose that this site has his own policy, well fixed up and they have their reasons not to include all the countries.
