Spending time alone

Although I am not a loner, too social in fact, I find that spending time alone doing absolutely nothing or doing whatever you fancy is extremely important and there are many benefits to doing so. The busier we get the less time we have to ourselves even to reflect on what has happened during the day or just to get to know ourselves. Do you spend quality time alone and what are your favorite ways to do this? What monumental decisions have resulted from these private moments? ?

Being alone occassionally is a great way to reflect and if necessary re-direct one's life. During periods of reflection and contemplation great ideas usually emerge, allowing one to see different alternatives. That way one can take more deliberate decisions as oppossed to impulsive actions one may regret later. I started the practice of withdrawal into self after reading inspirational books and tapes which recommended the practice and I became addicted to the practice!

I am kinda an intravert person. I like spending time alone. Whether it is for reading, listening to music or just thinking. It is very important to me in each day. I like to do whatever I want without being judged by others. That's only possible when I am alone. Since I only tend to think about the everyday issues when I am alone, most of the important choices that I made was in these times.

Yes, i like spending time alone. And i also think that it is very important to have some time for only yourself. It is in these momnts that we can reflect back and think deeply. Besides it is very relaxing also. All the decisions i have taken to dats have been the result of those monments although they are not very monumental and can be viewed as great by others. Nevertheless they are very important to me.

It's important for me to have time alone. I often spend it thinking about things and i can plan ahead which is fun. sometimes i won't to write any from people because it comes out easier than it does with people close to me. Just because you like time alone buddy it doesn't mean your aloner and if you was. It's not for anyone else to judge =) ~joey Kudos!

Though i like spending time with my friends, I would go mad if i didnt get a single moment in the day to myself... These moments havent resulted in much important decisions, but a lot of poems were written and lot of books were read...
