it is a laptop and I need to know what some of you think is the best and most reasonable anti virus I should get.
I dont want to have it open to virus's.

The best antivirus at present- Kaspersky and NOD32.
The best free antivirus: AOL Active Virus Shield and Avira antivir.
Do not pay for Norton- it is a system hog.
Do not download AVG- though it is probably the most popular free antivirus, it has mediocre detection rates.

It is a laptop and I have no idea what you mean about the

I have never heard of nod32 but I will check it out.
I just know the one I had was very expensive. At least I thought it was.
Thank you for letting me know about this one.

Try Kaspersky or NOD32. Im using Kaspersky and it is a very good software. NOD32, tried it also. very slick and very fast in scanning, it will not affect the speed of your system. Both anti virus software are rated on all reviews around the Internet
