There are many but very slight differences between male and female skeletons. But the most striking difference is the size of the pelvis, in the male it is narrow and rough in texture while in the female it is wide and smooth in texture.
Other differences include:
Male Female
----------------------------------------------------------
Heavier and rougher skull Smoother and lighter skull
Facial sinuses are larger Facial sinuses are smaller
Teeth are larger Teeth are smaller
Forehead will be sloping Forehead will be vertical
Bone weight will be heavier Bone weight will be lighter
Bone markings more prominent Bone markings less prominent

You are absolutely right in saying there are slight differences between male and female skeletons for sure.Yes, pelvis might be the major chnage as been discussed by others also here. But, nice to note that you have also made some interesting points here and i don't think one can differentiate between male and female skeletons by comparing their teeth for sure .Other points are interesting and note worthy here
Anyway's, thanks for responding

I agree the main difference between the male and female skeleton is that she has a wider hip section to allow for childbirth
Men also tend to have slightly thicker and longer limbs and digit bones, while women tend to have narrower rib cages, smaller teeth, less angular mandibles, and less pronounced cranial features such as the brow ridges and occipital protuberance (the small bump at the back of the skull).
The book Genesis of the Bible tells that Eve was created from one of Adam's ribs. This has led some people to assume that men have one fewer rib than women, but this is false: men and women both have 12 pairs of ribs.
In addition, removed ribs usually regenerate within 2-3 months of sectional surgery, as in the surgical procedure rib thoracoplasty.

Yes, wider hip are being discussed here and maybe this is right with female skeleton. But, identifying by teeth i don't think it can be done as it maynot differ betwen male and female skeletons for sure. You have given out some valid informations here....

The pelvic bones are different in men and women. Women have a wider pelvic bone than a man does.

Interesting...! is it? what is your profession and how come you know this? is it by reading books or is your profession medicine. Is the only thing with which we can identify male and female skeletons or are there any other interesting parts also with which we are able to differentiate between male and female skeletons?

There are a few differences between male and female skeletons. Female skeletons have wider hips to allow for childbirth, along with narrower ribs, and smaller teeth. In contrast, male skeletons usually have longer and thicker bones, in particular, the limb bones.

Hm...wider hips is it? but, will it be that easy to differentiate between male and female skeletons just by looking at hips size? maybe your second point of males having longer and thicker bones is understood and it is really a valid point here i believe.

The main difference is in the skull and the pelvic bone. The pelvic bone will also reveal (in a woman) if the woman has given birth or not. They can also tell from other bones, but they are not as definate. The size, density, etc. of the bones in general is different, but that is not as definate as the skull or the pelvic bone.
