My quess is about 50% of people in the world believe in God. I know I do. This topic I'm about to ask is: Since God created the world and everyone, do you think He is responible for the way the world is today? I personally do not. But I want to know your opion. This is only for discussion, no slamming one anothers religion. Please keep this discussion clean, no backbitting. Just give your opinion.

Yes God created this world and everything present here in this world but he is definitely not responsible for the way the world is today. The people are responsible. God has given us brain, but some people don't use it for the right purpose. If they had used it in a better way then the picture of the world would have been different today.

No I do not believe that God is responcible for how the world is today. God created the world and He created us. But He also gave each one of the gift of free-will. The will to choose what we do. We, as a whole, have choosen to pollute the beauty that God has created for us.

When God created man He wanted to love and be loved, just as we all do...Like others here have already said, He gave us 'free will'. He doesn't want to force anyone to love Him; has to be a personal choice.

I do not believe that God is responsible for the way the world is today! I believe it is because the devil chose to question Gods authority and used the first man and woman as his pawns in trying to prove that we don't have to answer to God and that we can do our own thing. And thats why the world is like it is today, everyone thinking they are better then the next, or that they can rule the world better, or that they don't have to answer to anyone but themselves! I think if more people chose to read their Bibles and try to practice good qualities like loving thy neighbor that the world would be a better place!

In the bible it says that God gave us the freedom to make our own decisions. I believe that God made us, but we are the one's that made the world the way it is today. War, hunger, poverty... these are all things that everyone has, in someway, contributed to.

I am a believer in God and no I don't think he is responsible for this terrible world we live in , He gave us a brain and hoped would would use it well , some people cannot love one another and it is reflected in the way they live , I prefer to stay out of political discussions because I do not understand them , we can only hope if we love one another as God ASKED US TO THEN IT WILL BECOME A MUCH BETTER WORLD IN TIME, xx

If God created the world... he is responsible indeed. Because he just dumped us here without a book of instructions. Some people will say that the book is "The Bible". But the Bible was written thousand of years ago. It stopped being valid 200 years ago when we reached the new age of industrialisation. For instance... The Bible says "You should multiply". But in those days... you were lucky if you lived until 30. When medecine started to prolong our life... someone should have realised that if we kept multiplying at the same rate... we would be heading for disaster. You can blame everything in this world on one thing only... We have multiplied too much and have too many people. If we had kept the population to one billion... We would all be rich and happy... We would have no pollution and no climate change. The more people you have... the more they have to compete against each other for survival. The more people you have... the more energy you need. Energy = pollution.

I just wanted to add to my response, sorry i accidentally posted it *feel ashamed... here goes... God is responsible in everything he does but what the world is now is the result of the greediness of satan, the prince of darkness. whatever had happened and is going to happen in this world God made it clear that everything happens for a reason may it bad or good. the important is, is His name be glorified in the end.

God created this world and created us to dwell in this very beautiful place he prepared for us. He gave us free will and I believe that the freedom given by God to man to mold his destiny is abused by man. It is man alone who is responsible for all things that happened in this world. This world is the domain of Satan although God gave us guidance through his disciples all over the world. We are very much vulnerable to temptations and our tolerance to it has caused the destruction of morale in this society.

In my personal belife God gave us free will, he wanted us to choose how we would live our lives and we have. We have made the world what it is today, we chose to be violent and hatefull and destructive. Granted the devil had a great influence on these things but we still made the choices. This is what I belive.

no i dont thin kgod is responsible. according to me he has created us and he can destroy us at his own will. he does not want us to get attached with material things and that is the main reason for all that is going on in this world today. if people were more loving, less selfish things would be different.
