What is the maximum hit for melees?

I heard that melee characters can hit over 60s. But I would doubt it. The maximum I ever saw someone hit was a 30, but it was non-members though. I know that in members world, you can use weapons like great axes and everything.
So does anyone here know what the maximum hit for melees are?

I can't tell you for sure what is the max hit because I am not 126 yet.I am 109 and I have hit 76 with full guthan with 3hp.The thing about guthan is that when you are low HP you hit very big.So it's possible to hit over 60.I have read oin a forum that somebody has hit 95 with 1hp too but I can't know for sure.When I will be 126 I will tell you again my max hit.Hope this helps you.

go on youtube.com and see if you can find some vids of people duel arenaing with dharoks or other armors
