The combination and Ballet and Hiphop brought my attention. How about you?

My sister told me that there are a lot of better dance movies than Step Up. Well, I do agree. But what brought my attention to appreciate this film is the dance combination of ballet and hiphop. I mean, personally, I don't really appreciate ballet dancing. But because of this movie, I have learned to appreciate it and realized that it can somehow be modernized and even combined w/ hiphop. Though the story is kinda predictable on how it will end, but still, I find it really cute, unique and interesting. How about you?

It's not the first movie were they put hiphop and ballet together. They also already did in Save the last dance but the dancing was not as a group.
I really think that step up is a cute movie :)

Really? Oh I'm sorry. :) I thought that was the first movie where ballet and hiphop are combined. I've gotta check out other movies, huh? :) Thanks for the info. Haven't seen Save the last dance yet. Let me check that out. Thanks

I appreciate the male character,who's handsome and a hiphop dancer knowing what's rare.I also love the combination of ballet and hiphop...Wonderful music and dramatic would always control my emotion...I love that feeling!

i too like how they brought the two types of music together. I myself being a dance loved how its all put together. I was a very well done movie.
