Don't upload your own photos on Net is Correct Word not on the Mylot. you are a young girl so be careful. their are so many bad people on Net, some knows you and some don't knows you, any one can harm you. so i also suggest you not to Upload your Photos, are you Muslim? I am Muslim

It is up to you. Personally I do not upload pictures of myself or anyone else from my family except on my personal web site for my family to see and even that part of my site has a password. ON the other hand many people do. It's a matter of choice, as long as you realize that the pictures you download can be viewed by anybody and even changed by someone with a very wicked sense of humor. If you feel that it is the picture that identifies who you are, you don't exactly have to upload your own personal picture and instead you can upload a picture that you feel symbolizes you or even a sig tag like i have ( if you don't know how to make one i can help you or make one for you if you don't have the software )That way people will see that image and will know it is you. Personally I prefer not to put any personal information in an open site like this, but again it's a choice. Many people don't really have a problem with that.

If the photos are very personal and you don't like people to see them, then you have to delete them. But I think we all post here and we do it with the knowledge that anyone is able to see them and use them.

i too am posting my photos in mylot. what kind of abuse is your friend talking about. I too need to know so that i take a decision regarding my photos too. Personally i havent encountered such a problem

A nice way to gain responds on a topic :D lol! when you know it is not good and people are abusing at your picture and they do bad things with this issue you should better to remove picture as soon as possible so why is this topic has been made? I don't feel like any sense of this discussion (no offense) I ever pray for you but this dosen't means you'll do this things just for having respond on the discussions which is not good at all. Anyways, I request you to don't post any other childish discussion like this and recommending you to remove your picture as soon as possible :D

if u or ur family have got problems with some guy somewhere abusing ur photos then it's best u don't upload them. otherwise, it doesn't matter in my opinion.

i have got such messages from my online friends too.i have not experienced any such thing.but i would say that you be careful,i am not saying that you should panic over this,.you should try to check it yourself.online misuse of photos may happen coz you are giving it to the site be it mylot or orkut or any other site.anybody can use these photos as they are free to enter.i don't upload my personal photos to orkut.

your friend is right!there are many bad guys in internet.but i think mylot is safer than orkut because guys here are three categories --really dedicated to mylot.so you dont have to fraid of them --people who want money and some interest in mylot!you can ignore this people also! --this people are sometime problem...because they are just to earn money...but i dont think they are dangerous! so...according to my opinion there are less risk in mylot than orkut.and dont upload any photos to your album!avatar will not be a problem!take care...

my oppinion dear naadia, once a picture been upload to the internet, all public owner that picture.its mean somebody will add a mistas or adding a naked body under the head ,.. crazy kind like that.

Dear naadia, i must say your friend is right, you may undergo such kind of problmems, especially it is difficult for girls, you cant trust anyone, specifically internet is a good source where you may undergo such problems, with this fear in mind i too havent used my personal photograph, you never know what may come, so its good to be cautious.

I also placed my own picture here at mylot and so far, i can't find any harm in putting one's picture. You're right, this is the easiest way for you to be known by other people. May be that issue depends on the "bad" people who would show interest in your pic and do something bad about it.

I dont' know why uploading a photo is bad. Are you sure that he ain't just jealous or something? Maybe he likes you or something and don't want others talking to you. I don't know but that might be the problem. Or, strangers or bad people might come on this site or something and track you down. Could be a possibilty...

Yes and that is something even I tell a lot of my friends to do. Nowadays a lot of people with bad intentions are doing a lot of things against their friends or against someone they have bad intentions. This is not good thing. But we cannot stop them from doing that so to avoid the trouble we can at least take a step from our side by not uploading our own pictures and the pictures for relatives on the Internet so that we do not land up into trouble. I have seen many of my friends doing strange things with their own pictures on photo shop. So it is always better not to take a risk and BSafe.

Not really necessary, my photo is in myLot and there no problems. There is lots of people with their photos uploaded in here and everything seems to be fine. But thats all uup to you.

There are a lot of people out there that abuse the pictures of others. And, they can be from any website. So, if you are ok with using your picture, think about the fact, that anyone can copy it, and pretend to be you. I like to put scenic pictures and pictures of place that I have been, or objects that I like. But, I do not like to put my picture out there. I learned that a lot of people are getting their pictures stolen, and added to other websites. Also, they are being tampered with. I actually remember the other day, seeing your picture, and thinking that you shouldn't have put it up, because you look so young, and that is like a radar for all those dishonest people. Good luck.

ya its better to remove ur own photo from mylot. i heard this coment from 2 years ago. thats y i didn't put any photo on mylot.

i will tell you that what she said is correct but it is not only for mylot but for any site you should avoid uploading your photos for safety sides as there are chances that your photo is misused

well for me there is nothing to worry about posting photos, its the one way of recognizing you atleast the people you are talking to have an idea who you are..and i feel comfortable seein the picture whom im talkin to
