Hello there!! I do not know how this exactly works, this is the first time I post a question in a blog like this. I truly hope someone can help me get out of this trouble. Here's the issue: I own a laptop computer, specifically, a Dell Latitude 610,Pentium III which runs Windows XP Pro 2003.Time ago, it dropped accidetally.Since the screen damaged as a result of that, I decided to remove it, afterall, it was a useless accessory.Well, appareantly, everything had gone well. All of a sudden, one day the computer shut off itself. I could read that proverbial message in a blue screen:"Windows has encountered a problem and has to shut down to prevent your...", bla, bla, bla.Ever since, I haven't been able neither to enter Windows anymore nor get out of that black screen that reads"Primary Hard drive disk not found, No bootable devices". I don't know what to do.Based on the info I've picked in the wake of this, I suspect I'm going to have the mother board checked by an specialis, a fact that implies money obviously.Because It's not going to problably worth it, I'd just would like to know about some other alternatives before making a decision. I'd infinitely appreciate any help in that regard.

If you have a CD-Drive attached to it you can boot it using a bootable CD-ROM and then perform diagnostic tests on the RAM, hard disk or any component of the computer.

try checking your laptops bus lines or connections, from power supply lines to your hd bus lines and if just incase it does not work still, i suggest that you buy a new one rather than having it repaired the cost is almost the same any way. i suspect one of your laptops main component is beyond repair due to your dropping it. greetings. : )
