Is there a specialized doctor that tests for dslyexia?

I think I posted my question wrong earlier. What type of doctor would specialize in dsylexia? And what is required to meet to criteria for this type of testing? And how do you get the school to do this type of testing?

in the state of Missouri you have to go to a psychologist to get diagnosed the school does not do it anymore. I have been battling with this for years and they finally told me this year about them not testing for it. Ask your child's doctor and see if they can refer you or at least put you in the right direction. hope this helps keep me posted I'll keep you and your child in my prayers. good luck
