Diet pills SUCK -- at least the ones I tried

I had to write this because I think that diet pill makers are just weasling us out of money selling us stuff that doesn't even work.
I tried Zantrex-3 for two months, and I didn't lose anything. I modified my diet and my excercise regimine and took the pill just as directed. My weight did not budge. However, I did get very hyper and could not sleep a wink. It made my heart race, which finally made me stop taking the pills.
A year ago I tried Dexatrim. All that pill did was dehydrate me.
Two years ago I took Xenadrine. At least with that pill I lost two pounds, but I was taking it for three months! I don't even know if I can attribute that weight loss to the pills either.
Has anyone ever used any pills that actually WORK? I have heard good things about Hoodia, but I don't want to risk spending money on more pills that don't work. What are your thoughts on pills?

I have exactly the same result as you have had. I have wasted so much money on diet pills, I thought it was just me and my body. I have also been on so many diets and wasted so much money to lose like 1 or 2 pounds. Then I tried Atkins and I was shocked! I actually lost weight on this diet and a lot of it too. When I wasn't losing pounds I was losing inches. Within 1 year I lost 97 pounds. So, now I go on Atkins when I gain a few pounds and they come right off. Atkins is not for everyone but sure was for me. It is basically Eggs, Meat, Cheese and green veggies. Give it a try and if it works you will be ecstatic! Stop wasting your money on pills they are a rip off for people like us.

You're absolutely correct in stating that the Atkins diet isn;t for everyone. People with dairy allergies would not benefit from this diet!

Well - from the look of your avatar, I think you look great & no need for you to diet or lose weight, unless there's something I don't know.
Maybe try this. Try taking up karate or kung fu & practice practice practice. The exercise will be very helpful, & you'll also be able to defend yourself after a while.
