Well my opinion on why blacks are so needy is the lack of motivation to learn. The lack of motivation to learn means there are high chances of a person dropping out. That person dropping out makes it so that they do not have a easy life. Then they bring a baby into the world were there is no proper discipline due to the hardships of life because the person didn't graduate school.Taking that the child does not care to learn there for the pattern constantly repeats.
Thats what I think as a black graduate.
What about you

Blacks network among themselves, so they learn what programs are avaiable and how to get in on each. Since they know how to sign up for them and have no problem doing it, who'd work for a living?
And I think there are blacks working in a lot of government jobs that expedite some claims, too.
Last time I was out of work, I didn't even let me family know about it, let alone get on programs. But if I knew about them maybe I'd done things differently.

Yes I agree with blacks networking among themselve but what im trying to say is the programs wouldn't be neccasary if we just stay in school and work as a team like in segurgation days.
Sometimes I wonder if we would've been better of if we stayed segurgated due to the lack of care for one another

I think black students have special needs, and might benefit from their own program...

Personally I think that is crap respectfully. Some blacks are so in need stemming way back to racism, and slavery especially. When blacks were not given the chance to learn, they were made ignorant, and in turn parent passes this down to child, and child to their child for generations and generations. Not to mention the poor schooling, which still exists in many cities such as Philadelphia. It is easy to comment from the outside looking in but I have been on the inside and seen. The person often doesn't graduate school because school is simply not for everyone. Like in early American History with poor whites, some blacks can't afford to go to school. I am black myself, and fortunatley I am more educated than most people my age, however thats just me. I feel that all the problems that blacks face stem way back to oppression of their parents whom were never taught the correct way, and in turn their offspring. Though I agree with teh relationship between parent and child I think we must first examine why the parents are like this. So ask yourself from parent to parent, why are blacks like this?
