I found out not to long ago that I have a split uterus. I did alot if research on it and even though you can still have children, I was wondering how much harder it will be. Can anybody help answer my question. Thank you

Sorry I cannot personally help you with this one but have you spoken in depth to your Doctor about this and also a local women's health clinic might have more information if you feel more comfortable talking to them. Good luck.

There is no definite answer to this question. Some woemn with a double uterus...just like women with a normal uterus, get pregnant without any problems...others have infertility. Also there are several types of double uterus so it would help to know which type you have. If you have uterus didelphys, this means your uterus has a septum which simply put means you have a uterus that is divided in half by a partition. If this is what you have and pregnancy is difficult to attain, surgery can be performed to remove the septum. So, yes, you can get pregnant but might have infertility issues. The issues can be addressed or rectified (solution depends on the type of double uterus you have) so that you can acheive a pregnancy. (I'm an R.N.)
