I can't really think of a movie that has really scared me, if I watch them at night and alone then that always increases the scare factor no matter what the movie lol
I loved the Nightmare on Elm Street series when I was younger and the Saw movies are very good (hopefully going to see number 3 soon)

I loved the nightmare on elm street and chucky movies growing up, for some reason I found them hilarious lol Now it would probably be saw 1 and 2, haven't seen number 3 yet but looking forward to it.

i'd never forget the original Exorcist with linda blair. i was in 3rd grade when i saw that and gosh, i refused to sleep alone in my bed for a week, lol! the latest that hit me was "Ring O" and thankfully, there was Scary Movie 3 which made fun of it and made me get rid of my fright. i was so grateful i even bought its dvd copy, very funny, lol!

I'd have to say "Saw" and "Saw 2" were excellent. I also really liked "Hostel".

I don't know about the best horror movie ever made, but I thought the House of Wax was pretty darn good, and so was Saw.
I love horror, but I like it to be somewhat realistic. Seeing someone being chased by a chainsaw only makes me laugh.

I have quite a few horror films that I would consider to be my favorite or to be some of the best out there! . . I grew up watching horror films as a kid.. And I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't able to watch them when they we're a kid.. I can't imagine that happening to me as I'd feel like I would have missed out on so much if that had happened.. I find horror films to be my favorite genre.. And I find the classics are the best.. They just don't make them quite the same as they used to sadly! . .
Some of the movies that I consider to be my favorite.. Are as follows:
- Any nightmare on elm street movie! . . I've always been a big fan of Freddy Kruger.. And still am to this very day.. I grew up watching his movies since I was a kid.
- Any Chucky movie out there
- All the Friday the 13 movies
- The shining
- All the Hellraiser movies
- Misery
- The Changeling
- Vampires
- The people under the stairs (Not scary in my opinion.. But still an excellent movie! . . )
- Rose Red
- The Hills Have Eyes
- Sometimes they come back
- Sleepwalkers
- Pet Semetary
- Maximum Overdrive
- Carrie
- The Rage: Carrie 2
- IT
- Poltergeist
- Stigmata
- White Noise
- The 4th Floor
- The Texas Chainraw Massacre
- MAY
I could keep on going naming all of my favorite horror films. But that would take quite a long time for me to do so! . . I know I've always been a big fan of them as well. It's nice to come across a fellow horror movie fan! . . Thank you for allowing me to share some of my favorite films with you..
