last night i just read in a 2006 issue of reader's digest that there is such a thing as face transplant. just like in that movie "face off". from what i understood, the first was done in india but the thing is it was the same person's face. what happened was, the girl's pigtails got caught up in some rotary mill and it literally ripped her face from her head. and some doctor had to sew it back on. there goes the first transplant. and then ethical issuea about whether it's helpful or not to transplant the face of a dead person to an extremely disfigured living one? ewww. it just sends shivers up and down my spine.
