No, because money isn't going to ever make us compelety happy. Just ask people who have money and are depressed.

I agree money doesnt make us happy but it does help the burden a little. I would rather be happy and poor than rich and depressed. But it would be nice to just be able to live comfortable. Thanks for your comment.

I agree about having enough to lessen the burden and overwhelming burnout of hours I put into work just to get by (paycheck-to-paycheck). That, and more TIME...I sure wish there was more time in a day.

Living paycheck to paycheck is hard to do. I do that too. A little extra would be nice.

maybe money can make our lives easier but making us happy? that is another question. To some maybe but i think of money as one of the tool to survive for living. If your contented with what u have, u dont need a lot of money to make u happy. why most people are not happy is because they are chasing after money and during that process inflicted some stress upon themselves. They want to get rich thinking money is the answer to living life to the fullest. i will say that no amount of money is ever enough to keep us happy but alive ..yes

Yes I agree too many people go for the gold instead of enjoying their life with what they have or can accomplish without kiling theirselves by working so much.

There will probably never be enough money to keep us happy. It seems that you long to buy something, maybe something expensive. You just have to have it and have it now. But once you get it, it is nice to have, but something else will grab your attention and you just have to have that item. This is from the pressure placed on all of us by society. As long as I can pay my bills for what I need, I can save for what I want, and I am happy. My family makes me the happiest with simple things they do, not for any amount of money.

Absolutely, especially if you don't depend on money to make you happy.

money does not guarantee happiness, neither does it gives you a clean bill of health all the days of your life.I have seen rich men where i live die as a result of depression, sickness that money can cure, and so many other things.

Well, I think most people always want more. I myself spend it as fast as I make it. But, I have enough to buy what I want and not just what I need.
There is a bible verse, "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven." I think that means if you have it you should use it to help others in need instead of hording it.

Thank you. I am the same way about spending more the more I make. I cant say I am in the same boat as you tho. Money is pretty tight around here.

Thank you. Sometimes money can cause problems with the most important things in your life and it is better to not have it.

Too many people forget about their families and worry just about the money.

You need enough money to keep bad things from happening to you. But you don't really need billions (or even millions).
