I don't know why whites most especially British and Americans don't allow their daughters to marry from another race most especially Africa. I'd like to know cos I have a friend in love with an African man but when the man proposed the Parents strongly refused. The Parents are against the marriage because the man is black and because he hs a son from his past relationship. I'd like to hear your opinion about this issue. I need answers.

Of course, you can. The only important thing is: YOU MUST TO BE COMPLETELY SURE that you want to marry. My mother doesn't love my wife when we get married and today (10 years after) my wife is one of my mothers best friend's!

I would. But then again, I suppose I'll have to whether I would care or not. My parents are so against gays and lesbians it's unbelievable. I kind of feel bad even accepting food from them now because they don't like who I am. Once I move out, I'll marry who I please and I may not visit them anymore if they don't come around. So I wouldn't let my parents stop me from getting married. She'll have to decide what she wants to do with her life, don't let parents make that important of a decision.
