ok if it works then why arent more people doing it? and how do i know how much i get for each post?

Some people don't feel like answering questions for a few cents here and there, others don't have time, and many others just haven't heard of it yet. You won't know how much you get paid. There isn't a fixed rate, specifically. It's generally a cent per post, a cent per image, plus whatever your referrals make, since you make %25 of what they bring in. But the actual scale of pay depends on a lot of factors ... what type of posts you're supplying to the site for instance. Short one or two line responses earn almost nothing. This site is about quality, not quantity. 10 well thought out answers or additions to a discussion will make you more than 100 quick replies of lesser quality. Also, your star rating, that will show up by your name when you hit 100 points (100 posts, also shown by your name) determines your rate of pay. The higher the star, the higher your earning potential. All in all, if you're looking for a site to talk to people, get feedback, get to know a few people AND make a few bucks on the side, then mylot is for you. If you're looking strictly for a way to make fast money with little effort, you won't find it here.
