Is it because of a fear of failure? the need to be perfect? what?

I think for a lot of people it falls alot on your past. I've been around a lot of people who procrastinate and in 8 out of 10 people it seems to be people refer to their past as being told they couldn't do it or could never do it right. I call it an insecurity issue due to fear of failure. It can be just plain being cautious, I've done that with buying a car. And of course there are other peoples views, I like to hear them too. I don't know ... I'll think about it tomorrow.
Sorry, couldn't help it, lol.
I would think reasons differ for everyone, but for myself, pure lack of energy. I often have more ambition than I have energy, and plan on doing a lot more than it turns out I have the energy level to complete. So some things get left until the next day, or the one after that, or whenever I manage to get around to it.
