how to keep a long distance relationship?...

i was just wondering if a long distance relationship would really last...what do you think?

I think it's very difficult for this kind of relationship to last. I've been in a few of these myself, and none had made it through.
I think it has to do with how often you see each other. With me it was difficult because my partner and I lived in different continents so we could hardly ever meet. It's not easy having a relationship with a name on a screen.
If you meet frequently then there might be hope. I think it'd require lots of affection and emotional maturity to make it through. Also lots of respect for the other person's feelings and excellent and honest communication.

I don't think that there is very much hope for long distance relationships. Spending a lot of time together to see if your compatible is an important part of a relationship and you cannot do that if you are a million miles apart.

it can be hard but i know it can work. My daughter and her hubby, befor they married were apart for almost a year, then he joined the army and they endured long separations, and they just got married in December. So it worked for them, with patience,love and communication and dedication.
