Love advice

So I thing i've been worrying about with my boyfriend is the love word. Neither of us have said it yet and it's been a year. What I really want to know is do you think that if you know he loves you and you love him do you really need to say it? I guess the reason i'm so scared to say it is because i'm afraid he won't say it back. The deal is I know he loves me by the way he treats me. Should I worry? Is something wrong with my inability to say the word love?

Hi Giggles88, I think it really doesn't matter if you had said or not to someone the word "love" if you really love that person. Love does not count how many times you said it but on how many times you showed it.
Action speaks louder than voice.

That's exactly how I see it. I guess i'm afraid he won't think I love him if I don't say it. I guess I should probablly just chill out and let it happen on it's own.

Giggles ... you say you know that your boyfriend loves you and you too love him ... then why are you afraid to say the love word ... when you know he loves you ... why wont he say it back ??? any way (by action or words) make sure you express yourselves loud and clear ... good luck ;) ...

As a man, i really wanna hear my girl says "I love you". words means a lot to me. Because I believe that words is powerful than action, although they say, action speak louder than words. don't be afraid to tell him that you love him if you really love him. Don't expect that he love's you in return. We don't love to be loved.

I like the whole "You don't love to be loved" saying. It's just hard to live by. I feel if I pour my heart out to someone and they don't say anything back it just really makes me feel like crap you know. That's the hard part is accepting that they might not feel the same.

If Both of u truly love each other,
then don't worry abt anythg.
If your mind say yes
then tell him,don't hesitate,don't think.
Until he tell you,you will go on and on.

maybe his not more on words his more than actions. me my bf always say i love you everyday. i dont even count on my fingers how many time he will till me that he loves me sounds like its too.. you know....it depends on the person but it's you who could tell just feel it
