favorite verse in the Bible?

Mine is John 3:16." For God so loved the world that He gave us His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him might not perish but have an everlasting life." It's the first ever verse that I've memorized ever since I was 7 years old. I also like Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Indeed very inspiring! "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34

I always like to read 1Corinthians 13 which speaks about spiritual gifts and love is the greatest: "Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these is Love." 1Cor 13:13

A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down, and a time to build up. I like this one although I am not quite sure why as I hope I never have a time to kill.

My favorite has long been Romans 12:1-2. I believe it speaks to our responsibilities as Christians. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

MIne is "Be still and know that I am God" I always need to refer back to this when life is going crazy or I am not trusting God liek I should be. Its such a peaceful verse.

Psalm 119:11 "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Short and simple but a constant reminder to me to stay on track and follow Jesus.
