Goals in life and their need

Some say that goals give direction to life. Does life has not its own natural direction? Why give a separate direction from the one the life naturally has? By 'creating' goals, are we not interfering with the natural functioning of life? Aren't we deliberately forcing life to take the 'created' direction?

Hey ! I think having a goal in life is very important .. because we can`t just choose to do some thing randomly .. we need to have a certain thing .. that we really really look forward to achieve .. and even if we don`t get to do it .. we finally get relaxed .. because we know that we gave our best .. or if not maybe that goal wasn`t the right one .. You can always change your goals if you realise that you`ve chosen one that doesn`t suit you properly ..
