After 4 years of studying nursing and all the tiresome reviews, its a relief that I passed the board exam! I'm really happy that I made it. Thanks so much to my parents and family who supported me financially and emotionally all the way. I will be looking for a job soon as its only yesterday we had our oath taking ceremony. Hope I can work abroad as soon as possible to help my family. To those nursing students who are burning their candles every night, good luck to you all and God bless! You can make it, too!(",)

Congratulations!! Welcome to the best profession that exsists, you won't be disappointed I promise! Working as a nurse is awesome. Jobs are abundant as there seems to be a shortage in every nation. I know there is a terrible shortage here in the United States. I will close with something that ciruculates among nurses that pretty much sums up the profession. No one seems to know who wrote this little piece:
What It's Like Being a Nurse:
1. You will never be bored.
You will always be frustrated.
2. You will be surrounded by challenges.
So much to do and so little time.
3. You will carry immense responsibility
and very little authority.
4. You will step into people's lives
and you will make a difference.
5. Some will bless you.
6. Some will curse you.
7.You will see people at their worst--
and at their best.
8.You will never ceased to be amazed
at people's capacity for
Love, Courage, and Endurance.
9.You will see life begin--and end.
10. You will experience resounding triumphs
and devasting failures.
11. You will cry a lot.
12. You will laugh a lot.
13. You will know what it is to be human
and to be humane.
( This cannot be said any better. I cannot take credit for writing this, the author is unknown.)

What a very cool lists! I love it. I haven't officially started but I'm sure that all that was in the list is true. I know I can already relate to some of them through my clinical experience from school.

I know how you feel! I too was once a nursing student.
I studied in the states so I'm not sure how they are there but I can tell you that there was a lot of very emotional and trying days.
I'm sure that once you get a little experience, you can probably get petioned. Just be careful. Don't get trapped into a field that will overwork you!
Good luck!

Well congratulations to you on achieving such a wonderful thing in your life. Many people might not give the nursing profession the credit they deserve but I have the utmost respect for nurses for having chosen a career where it's all about giving and not so much about getting high salaries. Doctors and lawyers get high salaries as do software developers. I don't know many software developers who do their job to help others nor many lawyers. Doctors are often in it for the money and patient care has deteriorated over the years but to this day in my life I have never met a nurse who doesn't deserve the most respect for doing such good jobs and having such kind hearts. Long may you work in the profession and I wish you the best of luck in finding the right place to practice your career. xx
