LOL, pleased to hear it. That was the idea. As it happens, my son is a chef and my brother almost was. Not sure what happened with me ...

i was around 7 or 8 years old. i would always want to be in the kitchen and try out new recipes. at that age, my mom would supervise me but i would do all the adding of ingredients to the bowl and mixing myself

Wow, that is a real small age to love cooking..nice:)I learnt to cook and began to like it only after I got married (a year ago) Since then cooking has become a passion more than a chore and I'm always on the lookout for new recipes to try across various cuisines. I'm always watching the Food Network channel and try many recipes too. My mom is a very good cook and she has been taking cooking classes for over 25 years now, so I have been exposed to that since a young age. But it took me this long to finally catch up to it!

I always watched my dad cook for us when I was a kid, but my actual cooking started when I was in High School. I've been experimenting on recipes ever since, but still am an amateur!

i never cooked when I was younger. My mom is an amazing cook so I never bothered learning. I had to learn when I moved abroad when I was 20. I slowly experimented and learned how. I began to love cooking when I had well stocked kitchen and good amount of cookware. I liked having the freedom to try whatever I like and make a mess without getting into trouble.

I believe I was 13 years old when I learned to love cooking. You see I'd watch my eldest sister cooking for she learned a lot from school about cooking. And my mom also had some cook books in the house.
So when my mom and dad would arrive home from work I'd have the house cleaned and the table beautifully set with cakes, candles, place mats and the main dish was waiting on the stove for them.
I think that setting the table was the best part of cooking. The icing on the cake!
