Sleeping Babies make everything seem better

Hi all. If any of you have been following my last few posts you know it has been a tough few days. I am cuddling with my sleeping baby and using the laptop right now. It just struck me how calm holding a sleeping baby can make you feel. Even when things are terrible. It is the sweetest thing. No major discussion. Just a happy moment I felt like sharing. :) Maybe they should find a way to incorporate holding babies in therapy sessions. Or therapists could suggest to their patients to go and volunteer at the places that need people to help rock and hold abandoned/drug addicted babies. :)

I believe this often . When they say there is nothing cuter then a sleeping child it is so true . When you look at your child asleep it makes you feel so much more calm and relaxed . A sleeping child just seems to make you realize how innocent they are and to remind us that things might not always be so bad even when we feel like there doesn't seem to be much hope . Somehow makes us want to be a better person if only for them .

Exactly. He is definately my world and I will do anything for him. I need to move him, and I dont want to, LOL. He just looks so peaceful and innocent.

I love holding my sleeping baby. She looks so cute and peaceful. I normally don't want to put her in her own bed. It calms me to see her so calm.

My son sleeps with me most nights. It is just a peaceful sight all around. I figure I will like it when he is sleeping for other reasons later (like when he gets more mobile I will need the time to regroup) LOL

i feel the same way but for me its when i lay down next to my baby at nighttime, she sleeps with me, and just looking at her and how peaceful she looks, my goodness. It also makes me feel lke i never want her to grow up cause i love her this way. so little and cute. at least while she's sleepign she's peaceful:)

Mine sleeps with me too. All snuggled up. It is the sweetest feeling. I love the big smile on his face when he wakes up and sees me there. It is precious.

You are absolutely right. There is nothing more beautiful and inoccent then a sleeping child :) and they alway slook so sweet bless em. They definatly fill oyur heart with love and what better therapy is there then that! Thanks for sharing.
