The wheel of fortune does not favor anyone. There are rich who become poor and there are poor who become rich. Other cannot not accept the down fall in life.

obviously "riches to rug" is the easiest path, we could just give away all our money, and live like a hermit or a survivalist in the wilderness. but unlikely for us since we're busy pressing these dumb keyboard keys.. ?

it is easier to spend than to earn. majority of people work their whole lives so they can retire comfortably. that's almost 45 years worth of saving up and working.. so that they could just retire comfortably.
those who were lucky enough to be born lucky, unless they 'work' to maintain their fortune, most of the time a life of luxury will also lead to their downfall.
i know a family who owns hectares and hectares of land. 1 day the head of the family took up gambling, in a few years, they lost all their properties and they are now cramped up in a rented 3-room house.
