The book according to some of my friends is a bit "harsh", but i have to say i have dated nothing but losers with almost all of the excuses i could possibly find addressed in the book as to why the relationships never moved passed a certain point, or why committment was to be entered into with "caution". After reading this book i closed shop and stopped listening to all the excuses. I started dating an ex (who i had dumped for no good reason), new knowledge in hand and a keen mind with no more tolerance of "simple" excuses, we have known each other for years and dated for 4 before we broke up, before you know it we were living together, then married, we just bought our home together, and while sometimes i want to strangle him, i love him to pieces and i believe this book opened my eyes!
What are your thoughts?

Now that is some rave revue for that book - wow!
I'm so glad you got your man.
Now don't get me wrong, but could it be that as you got older and wiser that you were just that bit nicer a person to live with and not expecting perfection in your man?
