I would start by doing a search online for knitting instructions. I am sure you can find a lot of help there. Also, in the craft stores and the craft section of most department stores you can find how-to books that have the instructions and also an easy project to start with. Good Luck on the knitting. My greatgrandmother taught me a very long time ago, and it is really relaxing. I used to do it while I watched tv.

Appart from doing a search or reading books, have you asked at your local specialist wool stores, Im sure they can suggest someone to reteach you, or they may even be able to offer you help themselves. Or you could ask some elderly relatives, friends or even neighbours to see if they can help. If you cant find anyone to teach you in person, I'd suggest going to the local library and looking for a knitting book which is designed to teach a child, I have a few and think they are certainly alot better than the adult ones as they only teach basic's which is what you need to start with instead of being overloaded with information. Your local newsagent book-store or wool store may even have a childrens learning book to purchase, these are also alot cheaper to buy than the adult designed books.
