I feel like a loser sometimes... when i find myself checking my myspace like 3 or 4 times a day. I swore up and down i would never get a myspace and i was able to hold out for like 6 months. Then of course being so weak i gave in now i feel like an addict with a problem. I seriously missed lots of sleep during my first week of myspace. I would stay up till 7 or 8 a.m. perfecting my site seriously. Now after like 6 months of being on there the addiction has seemed to stop ill check my page maybe once a day if not once every two days. Yay for me!!! Anywho i just wanna know that im not the only one who this happend to, lol. AT least i hope im not, laters.

When I first signed up I checked it often. But I have a friend that will spend hours upon hours waiting for a new message or a new friend request. And she just adds random people for no reason, never writes them. I think that if she doesn't ease up we'll have to have an intervention.

Shut up... I don't need an intervention, I just get bored easily!

Since I've been making some money posting here, at dormcheck, and writing articles for Associated Content, I haven't been devoting as much time to myspace as much. It's amazing what money can do.
I used to be very addicted to myspace, though. I think it's dangerous in so many ways. I'd find myself getting mad at my friends for not keeping me or putting me in their top 8 or posting comments I thought were lighthearted but the receiving person would consider as harsh. It is a disease lol.

I got the myspace IM so I get alerted if I have any new comments/friend requests/comments/ etc, so I no longer have to check every 5 minutes. It doesn't tell you if the groups you are in have been updated however.

OMG. I can't live without myspace. If I don't check it I get anxious about who's written me and if I have new friend requests.

I got one, just to have one. I didn't do anything with it. It is for younger people I think. It also loads really slow I think, probably because of the music and everything people always put on their pages. I check it whn I get amessage, about once every two weeks or so. Other then that I don't go there. I would rather be here making money then bot friends on myspace.

Well you got to watch it Heartless or you'll be just the same here at MyLot.
Will there be enough hours in the day for you to do both justice?

I am new to the myspace thing, and I too swore up and down that I would not get one, but here I am, almost 2 months old, and yes the first week was addicting because I wanted to change my profile like 500 times. With all the cool surveys, tests, pictures, music, graphics, videos, links, not to mention backgrounds, it is a wonder why anyone would go through this process.
I now only log on once a day to see what I want and comment where I want. For me the the design feature and music aspects(choosing a song thats actually on myspace) was cool at first, now I just like it the way it is.
