I whole heartedly agree with you. I do think that North Carolina is a close second, but I love the mountains in Tennessee and I think that it has to be the most beautiful place in the whole USA!!!
I lived in southwestern Virginia too and I liked it there too. I still have family there!

I grew up in Chattanooga and I went back to visit also a few years ago. I lived on Missionary Ridge and loved it! We visited the Chattanooga Choo Choo and 6 Flags over Georgia also. I remember Ruby Falls and lookout mountain! If you type in key words like Missionary Ridge and Chattanooga Choo Choo, you can see my pictues that i uploaded of our trip to Tennesse. I regret not visiting Gatlinburg while we were there!

I agree, growing up in San Diego, there is no place like California. Go to the beach in the morning, go snowboarding in the afternoon. Dirt biking in the desert, hiking in the foothills everything you could want and more. Too bad is so expensive!

Well, I haven't visited many states, but out of the few I HAVE visited, I like Washington State the best. So, so pretty up there.

We traveled alot when i was younger and i don't remember much though.. I live in Ky and think it is a beautiful bluegrass state...But I went on vacation a few years ago with my aunt and uncle and we went to North Carolina and it was just beautiful...and so many things to do and places to visits...so I choose it as the most beautiful state in my opinion...

I grew up in Colorado and it certainly is one of hte prettiest places on earth, but I also like Arizona for the variety...the painted desert, the grand canyon, the mountains of Flagstaff and Sedona.

i think Sedona, Arizona, 2 hours drive north from burgeoning Phoenix and 90 miles south of the Grand Canyon, lies amidst an ancient forest of juniper and pine, surrounded by the celebrated sculptured pinnacles and mystical vortexes of Arizona Red Rock Country.

I have been in every state except Alaska. It's hard, every state has it's own charm. I think Washington is beautiful, it's green and lush,, tennessee is too. East Coast has all the wonderful older homes...I live in Tahoe and you just cannot beat the view. Hawaii has the trees with huge flowers and the rich soil that promotes lush greenery...tough decision! Hmm, I think Hawaii!

I've only been to about ten different states. One of my favorites was Virginia. I liked the Victorian-style buildings, and the "quietness" about it all (at least from my experience).
