Mistakes on mylot

When you first joined mylot, did you make a lot of mistakes? I was looking back at my first discussions and I was thinking OMG I wrote a lot of one liners! I even posted another website! I think at that time I was so focused on getting money, that I didn't take the time to read the rules. And now when I look back, I cringe because I really believe in following the rules. And I'm not even that concerned with the money. Now, I'm more concerned with people breaking the rules lol. What a funny transition! So did you make a lot of mistakes on mylot when you first joined? And now do you get annoyed when people don't follow the rules?

I did lot of mistakes.I was new here,I try figure out how the things go on the site,I don't speak or write English very well and I hadn't any friend even my the person refer me here doesn't help me at all.So now I know more and when I can I try help new members too for doesn't feel like me at the beggining.....lost and lonely

Your transition is the same as mine =) I am really embarrased over a few discussions and there is one called "hotmail, yahoo or g-mail" that still jaunts me. people keep responding to it and it ends up on my first page, have no idea how to get rid of it *lol*

I will admit, I was the same way you were when I first joined. I was not fully aware of all the rules and what to do. All I know is I enjoyed posting topics and responding to others. Now I find myself really wanting to have quality discussions, Also, I find myself only responding to quality topics. And also making sure I respond to my friends topics, at least one or two if I have to time I will post on all my friends new topics

I made a couple, but they were due to the fact that I had some issues with my computer and other times, I just didn't see what I was doing...I did read the rules, and I advise everyone to do so, because there are a lot of cheaters, spammers, and liars here, so there are ways to spot them. Also, if you do read the rules, you will make less mistakes, and not get in trouble for them, or get people thinking that you are one of the types that are fake and here thinking that they can be a troll...Let's keep this place fun and clean of the trolls.

When I first joined MyLot I was the same like you. But after being on for so long I got the hang of it and understand everything. I don't like it when people break the rules either especially because these rules aren't hard to follow.

My biggest mistakes was not rating positive posts and not replying messages that I received.
I also try to use the MyLot search engine before posting.
