how come both hinata and hanabi are in the main house of the hyuuga clan?

neji was pissed off because he and his father were in the branch house. despite being twins, his father was put in the branch house just because he was born after his twin brother. if that was so, how come hinata's younger sister hanabi is in the main house as well? shouldn't she be in the branch house because she is younger than hinata? or does that only apply to male children? i'm really confused about that part.

There no confusing part about that.. hanabi is born out of the Head family, but classified as and there is a certain age that a branch family receive the curse seal. however, i think it is ok to live with the branch family. as neji - a branch family member- living with the head family.
