Has anyone read this series that spawned the tv show Bones? If you have is it as good as the tv series. I just ordered the first 4 books from Amazon so hopefully it is. :) But I was just wondering if anyone else had read it, if anyone's interested I could post how I felt once I have read the first book.

I've read the books before I watched the shows, and I quite enjoyed them (and enjoy the show now)
There's a lot more 'variety' in the books (ie. she works in two different places, works with a lot of different people) so if you're looking for the same group you see on the tv show, you're not going to find that - though it makes sense why they've done it that way for tv! And there's some different structures re: her personal life. But it's quite an enjoyable read and I think you'll enjoy :)

Yeah I kinda figured that they wouldn't have the same group of people. I wish they did, but I'm sure its just as enjoyable.

Actually, I love the books so much I could not get into the series - her life is very different in the books. But I think if you really like her character (and a good mystery) then you will like the books. Enjoy!

Wow, I didnt know there were books. I feel out of the loop. I'm going to look for them next time i go to the mall. lol

I love all Kathy Reichs books. I am actually re reading Fatal Voyage. Her style of writing has me staying awake to finish the book. I hope you enjoy them all as much as I do. Happy reading.

I've really enjoyed the TV show but only recently found out the connection with Kathy Reichs books. Matching discussions are starting to show on the side of my discussion now so I'm trying to find out the same thing. My local bookstore only had two of her books right now and I was told that they should be read in order so I'll be visiting my local library next.
Have you had a chance to read the 4 books you ordered yet? How did you like them?
