Was Thom York's solo album any good? When is Radiohead's next album out?

Anyone heard or own Thom York's solo album from Radiohead? I never went out and bought it, but never remember hearing much hype about it. I am a big Radiohead man though and will probably get it anyway.
Plus anyone know when Radiohead's new album is set for release?

I personally like the album. Its nowhere near as good as Radiohead, but its still interesting. Its just Thom doodling with electronic sounds on the computer
The release date for the new album hasn't been released yet. There have been rumors around the internet but they've been shot down, but its definetly going to be this year
