do you talk in your sleep...?

I think I do not talk while sleepng. How will I know?

Yes, couple of people including my mother, ex roomamate and boyfriend told me that I talk in my sleep sometimes and even if they didn't = I would still know I do, because I often wake myself up by laughing, crying or talking.

As long as I know I don't... at least nobody ever told me I did so I think I may not do that usually.

No one has ever told me that I talk in my sleep, so I guess I don't. I do snore sometimes, especially when I have a cold and cannot breath very well through my nose. Both my husband and my daughter talk in their sleep sometimes. It is funny to listen to them.

I do, but not all the time. I think it really varies. I caught myself doing it once, which was strange. I was having a dream about a stranger being in our house and I asked who are you and I woke myself up saying are you? And I'm like hmm..lol.

I never I knew that I talked in my sleep until I got to college. Now every roommate that I've had says that I talk in my sleep.

Well I've never woken myself up from talking in my sleep, but according to my boyfriend and my mother...I do it! Neither one of them have been able to pick out what I'm saying (I'm glad). Sometimes I have really strange dreams and so I fear what I would be saying in my sleep during such a dream...might be embarrassing for me!

I talk in my sleep when I am stressed or mad. Hard for me to keep why I am mad from my husband because it just spills out at night. For awhile I thought he could read me like a book until I found out I was telling him everything in my sleep. I told him he was cheating and it wasn't fair. LOL Hey atleast I don't keep it bottled up inside.

i dont think i talk in my sleep, i've never been told i do. but when i am on the edge of sleep first thing in the morning, i do talk, but it is nonesense stuff that has nothing to do with what the other person told me. and if you wake me up in the middle of the night, and ask me something, i probably wont remember, but i dont start the talking, its only if i am woken up in the middle of the night.

Yes. Back in college, my roommates were complaining about the noise i make in the middle of the night. They all said that i've been talking in my sleep. At first i told them that maybe i was snoring (i'm always tired at the end of the day and i snore when i am tired), but they insisted that i was talking, in a pretty loud voice. so one night, they decided to record me while talking in my sleep. the next night, they did it again. on the third night, before we all went to bed, they made me listen to the recording and the first night i was saying "x squared + y squared = 1, is the equation of a unit circle" the second night i was saying "let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments...", the whole sonnet actually. i stopped talking in my sleep a few weeks after that. then it started again when i was trying to hide a relationship from my parents. My dad overheard me talking in my sleep, saying my bf's name at that time, over and over again.

yes even i do. I think this is one of the way to express our feelings which otherwise supressed. I generally talk a lot while sleeping but half of this talk would be garbage other half is mostly about office matter.. What about you?

It's happened to me to. I don't always do it, but sometimes I do, I just wish I could remember it. I think I also sleep walked 1 time. But it's in my family, my brother had a case of severe sleep walking when he was way younger, but now I think he doesn't anymore, not that I'm aware of. I'd sometimes sit up in my bed and talk to my sister, she told me that she'd just agree and tell me to go back to sleep and I would. But the funny thing was with my boyfriend, I was at home and fell asleep wile he went to help my mom with something, when he came back he got himself into a weird situation, he said the conversation was more or less like this: He said he came into the room and I was mumbling or something, like I was speaking to someone: Him- Who are you talking to? Me- Shh I'm listening to them, don't make a noise. Him- Who are you listening to? Me- Shut up, I'm trying to listen to them, be quiet. Him- But there's no one here! Me- You think there's no one here... (sarcastic as to they there's other people in the room) When I really woke up, he kept looking at me strange and asking me weird questions like who I was talking about until we both realized I was actually sleeping. It did creep him out a bit though, till this day he wonders if I was talking to ghosts in my sleep lol. Sometimes I'd also call him names poor guy. I seem to have calmed down now though, but then again I sleep alone now. P.S. - The tv was off, no radios or anything on. I once dreamt I was taken to my room by my mom when I was half asleep watching tv. The next morning I fought with her and told her I was busy watching the movie why did she take me to bed when she replied that I had gone to bed with my own 2 feet. :P

Do you imagine cheating on your g/f / b/f and saying the name of the 3rd person in your sleep?? that would be soooooo nasty....

No as far as I know I don't.Thank God for that because otherwise my wife will scream at me.I think it's more of a disease like rather than a habit.So I think it should be reported immediately to a dcotor for check-up.

i know i do make strange sounds and at times speak in my sleep.my room mates freaked out the first time i made an awful evil growling noise.the next day when they told me i was surprised.i dont know why we speak in our sleep.maybe because we are overworked or stressed out.at times i wonder when i am travelling an when i take a nap what will the fellow passengers do when i blabber or make some noise.i know it ll freak me out if some one was doing that by the side of me.any one here know a cure for this?

honestly, i dont think so. but when i do sometimes, i know it. its when im too stressed and im like half asleep, i knew then that i was talking.

Sometimes, Me and my brother are together in a room and it happens mostly when times that i am so tired, suddenly a fell asleep and started to talk mentioning someone or something. sometimes its the opposite where my brother is the one talking and it makes me laugh coz he's mentioning some of his girlfriends names, sometimes i prepare pencil and paper, who knows, he might tell some numbers which i can bet on the lottery hahaha!!!

ya i do talk always.. but not always..its not good habbit to talk while sleeping
