Do you mind being the oldest in a large group of people?

Today i was asked about my age, when i revealed to them, they were surprised and said,
"You are the oldest!Just can't see it from you"
At that time, i was a little bit unhappy. I am afraid that being uncommon to them, and then they will treat me differently, and they will find that i am outside of their ring, don't fit them.
So, what do you feel about that?

age is something apart whenever you stay close to a group which has got people less than your age you tend to slide towards them in ageing process so being in a crowd less than your age group is something good and be happy for that.

I appreciate that you can turn this thing into your proudness. But at this moment i can't convince myself i should be happy about that.Though i will learn to think positively.

i look a lot younger then i really am and i often get this reaction too. but i feel as young as they are so i just shrug it off. and people forget this kind of thing when you have things in common. i have friends that are younger then me and i dont think about their age! why wouuld they think about mine. again i LOVE your monkey.

I would like to say "Thank you" on behalf of my monkey:D
I agree with you, my friends don't think about my age, and me too.
But some people that you are unfamiliar with, and they do care about that, and when they shows how they feel by talking to you or their behavior, you will still feel uncomfortable to that.
