do you believe that DISASTER bring good things?

friends, i know this is sound crazy, but i DO BELIEVE THAT DISASTER is a good things since it works as population control, like tsunami in aceh. since earth has been fulled by many people and natural population control is needed. if u have ANY idea, please throw me..

Do you think it would be a good thing if you were killed in an earthquake tomorrow? What if the population being controlled is you or your family or friends? Is this a good or a bad thing. It is easy to say this about others who you have never met and do not know them but if it strikes close to home it is different. Think about it, it could come home to you.

good comment. i were expecting such statement. i agree it was bad things for the people who become the victimed. however that's not the idea. the idea is THE NUMBER OF POPULATION IS DECREASE. it was natural and nobody control it. dont put emotion into it. consider its a bad luck. im sorry to said something like this, especially for people who got disaster. still, see the bigger picture.

interesting thought..I think they have both positive and negative side.what we should so is measure which one bigger. or let say different point of view cause different opinion in measuring it. I dont live in Aceh, so I can say its good. But what if the tsunami hit our home and kill our family?is it still a good thing?we think that the earth is over populated, but we dont want to be the exterminated ones. well I say we could start from ourselves.

No I do not believe in that at all.Only one good thing it does probably that in this selfish world all people come together to help each other, in disaster like this.That is the only good thing that happens.Regarding population control people needs to be educated for that.

Yeah, if it is looked from the perspective of global science, disaster actually brings a good effect because it washes out quite a number of population. I think not only disaster, but everything has its good and bad effects. Nothing in this world has only a good or bad effect. Everything has both. So you're right, friend. Even a disaster like tsunamis has its bright side.

When a disaster happens I believe it is Gods way of telling us something. No I never see it as a good thing. I think that it is for a reason. I do not want to get into a lot of controversy on this but when aids popped up its dirty little head my thought was maybe God was telling us we were being a little to free about how the world has become sexually.

You've told what buried in my mind!I have to say i agree with you, though it sounds cruel.Remember the SARS or bird flu?I was hope that it can really kill a lot of people, and the reason is the same as you.The earth is harmed seriously, maybe its just a kind of respond from our planet.
