"WHY DO WE CONSIDER ONLY SOME ANIMALS PETS"?

My theory is, at some point, all animals were considered food. But, our ancestors discovered some didn't taste that good (dogs, cats, etc) so they kept them as pets instead.

which is safe to be at home is considered as pet.. simple..

The ones we consider pets can live in our homes and usually tend to be safe. If you have other animals as pets they are wild can't be tamed and you might not wake up in the morning.

Cause to keep different kindz of petz u need those kind of atmosphere nd climate in ur home nd ur surroundings also. Thats why i feel v cant consider all de animals as pets.

PETS R THOSE ANIMALS TO WHICH WE CAN KEPT IN OUR HOUSE HOLDS!

pets r choosen for home and gurd and some people bring them to keep in house just to play

Child, do you want lions and tigers as pets? You should be able to handle your pets not otherway round. Plus they should be able to bring love and warmeth to your heart not fear. This is only my thinking.

hmm..well there are many people that keep exotic animals as pets i personally know people that have 'non-conventional' pets such as tarantulas and pythons

Usually because we can gain a physical bond, and we see them having the ability to process that and see us as family. There are quire a few animals I wouldn’t consider pets (even cats come into that!) though it’s just on the basis of something I could never consider owning.

you can't obviously have a lion as your pet ...... LOL..........

Because others either eat you or are too much of a hassle.

it depends on time my dear,when we are in pre historic age we believe ourselves competitors with others, now we are superior as so many ages passed by.and we made some animals work for us. it may so happen that in future there will be more to this herd of animals.so dont worry. it is called evolution.
