I quit fighting for the remote at my house! When my husband is home, it's in his hand. Before he gets home, it's in my son's hand. I'm so glad that I have a mouse to hold!

yup , i was doing that sometimes back , but i dont know why, but i dont do that, as now i ma not so much addicted to tv, but really i remeber my those days when i was fighting with my brother for remotw without reason , i mean i was not having anything imporatant to watch at that time, !!!

Alot!!!! Sitting with your family to watch TV is fun but the fighting part(for remote) is also a real fun. AS we all have different likes so we fight alot for the remote. I've emerged the winner quite alot of times:-)

I just had this cute idea to resolve who would have the right to own the tv remote at a certain time. in our home, the most hated errand is washing the dishes. so, whoever washes the dishes at the time should be the one to hold the remote afterwards.

We don't actually "fight" but if I'm watching something and my husband sits down he automatically grabs the remote and changes the channel. If I'm watching something that isn't that great then I don't mind but sometimes I get really upset cuz I just think it's disrespectful.

There are three televisions in our house. So if we want to watch different things, one of us will just go to a different room. That doesn't happen very often. My boyfriend and I like all the same shows. There is no fighting over the remote. He gives it up often, actually, he knows I will pick something he will be interested in.

No that never happens here. Neither of us are really big television watchers (though you'd never know it as there are four tv's in the house, lol). But when we do watch tv, we normally watch the same show. Our interests are quite similar and if by chance he wanted to watch one show and I wanted to watch another, we'd just use a different television, though as of yet, we haven't had this happen.

no i dont have that problem because i live just with my boyfriend and if one of us is on the internet then the other one can watch tv

when me & my brothers were younger, we used to fight for the remote control. but now, we hardly watched TV. but we do fight for the PC.. hahaha..
