Has anyone taken Effexor?

Sorry you did not get a response quickly to your post. I hope you are still checking! I am a newbie to the site and was checking out some discussions when I saw your post. I am a retired mental health counselor and have taken Effexor myself. Effexor is a very good anti-depressant, but you should know that it is physically addictive. That means if you forget to take a pill or decide at some point to stop taking it, you will have some withdrawal symptoms, such as nausea, shakes, sweats, dizzyness, headaches. Do NOT stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor first!!
