Hello, I have noticed that I very rarely get responses to my discussions. If I do it will mostly just be my friends on here. I have only had one popular discussion on here.
My last discussion was on a taboo subject which happened to be close to my heart. I didn't get one response.
Maybe alot of the users here seem to stay away from really intense and possibly controversial discussions.
Maybe I word things wrong as I asked people who had had a similar experience to let me know and I should have maybe just asked for opinion. Also the discussion was quite long and I think that maybe people couldn't be bothered to read through it all.
Maybe it is because the time I am usually posting (after 9.30pm Australian Western Standard Time) is not a popular time for other mylotters around the world?
What do fellow mylotters think? Is it because I am boring? Or a culmination of all the things above? Please tell me, thanks in advance, Tanika.

Hi Tanika, I do not know why you are not receiving many discussions it maybe what you are discussing I cannot even remember when the last time I received a discussion from you so it may have been awhile ago. Sometimes if a discussion is too long then people will not give many responses but they also will not recieve much money from only giving short responses either like one word or two at the most so I do think in the days ahead that you may notice a big difference as mylot get rid of these people or deduct money from their accounts here and that way they will be gone and you will receive more responses. Hope this helps you understand more.

Hey i have also experienced the same thing, me too feel that ppl. tend to stay away from intense n thought poroviking discussions, they generally like light n gosspiy discussions. I coudlnt make ppl. respond to my discussions, so i started to post light discussions.still i dont get much responses, dont know why.In ur case u atleast get ur friends response, but i dont even get that.Ok i ll see ur unresolved discusions n try to reply if i can.
THanks.

No I think you're definitely boring. I mean, even your answers are boring. You're so boring, you make boring fun.
JUST KIDDING!
Since there are so many discussions being started, people may be responding when yours gets posted, thus people just don't see it.
Or, some are just not intelligent enough to answer your High Quality discussions. It's not you, it's them.... ;) Forget about it, you have me to fill your discussions :)

Tanika, I haven't known you very long on the site, but you are definitely not boring. I also don't think that your discussions are too long. I think that what you have to do is what I did - concentrate on replying to other people's discussions more until you build up a larger friend base on the site. I didn't get hardly any replies either, until people started to notice me around the site more and I had quite a lot of friends on my list. I remember how discouraging it was at first to start a topic and get like 0-5 replies at first. It really turned me off of starting new discussions for awhile. I found that i earned just fine by only posting replies, anyway. But now that I have a large friend base, it's not too hard to get replies. It also helps to make your subject as broad as you can, I've found. Like, I will see a news story and write about it on here, but I will think of a really broad question to ask in my subject title, that goes along with the theme of the story, if I can. Those kinds of things usually get the most responses. That, or topics about Mylot, since everyone who is here is going to have an opinion about things to do with this site, lol! ^_^
I hope that I've helped you a little. Please don't feel down that you don't get a lot of replies. I doubt that I really started to get many replies to non-Mylot related topics of mine until i had over 1000 points by my name.
